Privacy Notice
How customer and visitor information is handled across our digital editions.
1. Who this notice covers
This notice applies to the Blueprint Library catalogue and to customer information handled in connection with our digital editions. Blueprint Library is the publishing name of the independent seller responsible for customer orders. You can contact the publisher about personal data at [email protected].
The catalogue currently acts as a non-purchasing preview. Where a separate product checkout is available, information collected during that transaction is handled as described below.
2. Data we handle
When you contact us, we may process your email address, your message and any order details you choose to provide. When an order is enabled, the checkout may process PayPal order and capture references, the purchased edition, payment status, delivery/session information, separately recorded contractual acknowledgements and the email address returned by PayPal for the order confirmation.
Cloudflare and our service providers may process limited technical data needed to provide and secure the site. We do not ask for full card details on Blueprint Library pages; payment details are handled by PayPal.
3. Why we use it
We use order and support information to fulfil purchases, provide digital files and confirmations, answer enquiries, prevent fraudulent access, document agreed purchase terms, handle refunds or complaints, and comply with applicable obligations.
The main legal bases are performance of the purchase contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests in service security and customer support. Where processing requires a separate consent, we request it.
4. Services involved
Cloudflare provides the Pages hosting and, for enabled checkout functions, server-side services including D1 and private KV storage. PayPal processes payments under its own applicable privacy terms. Resend is used to send transactional purchase confirmations. Our Outlook support mailbox is used for correspondence.
We do not sell customer email addresses or use transactional confirmations as marketing subscriptions. Sending a receipt does not enrol a customer in a newsletter.
5. International processing
Service providers may process or store information outside the European Economic Area. For example, Resend states that the selected Ireland sending region controls the sending location but not data storage, which is in the United States; Resend describes applicable transfer safeguards in its GDPR materials.
Additional safeguards and provider privacy documentation apply according to the specific service and applicable law.
6. Retention and protection
We limit access to customer information and use access controls for protected order and delivery resources. Order and agreement records are kept to support fulfilment, legal recordkeeping and possible claims; support correspondence and technical records are kept only while they serve those purposes or applicable obligations.
Resend currently states that email and delivery-log data on its Free plan are retained for 30 days. Other retention periods vary with the type of information, service and applicable legal obligations.
7. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, object to certain processing, and request portability where it applies. You may also complain to the competent data-protection authority.
To make a request, write to [email protected]. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify that the request relates to you.
8. Cookies and changes
The catalogue preview does not include an advertising tracker, newsletter signup or optional analytics script. Cloudflare or payment functionality may use strictly necessary technical or security mechanisms, and enabled checkouts may use secure order-session cookies.
If we add non-essential tracking or new processing activities, this notice and any required choices will be updated before those features are introduced.
